Ignition Interlock Device (IID) killed my battery and then the new battery in less than a week. My cigarette outlet didn't work right after they installed the IID, too, and fuse is fine. The reputable auto repair place said my car was fine and it was the IID.
I also have seen tons of complaints about IIDs killing batteries all over the internet and no one is doing anything about it.
The IID companies and VASAP just keep saying it's not the IID doing this....they are wrong.especially wrong due to how many similar complaints there are.
no one in authoritative position is doing anything about this to fix it.
