NCO Financial Systems will not talk to you like your a person. They can be rude, and intimidating to family members upon demanding for money. Have actually threatend myself that if I couln't come up with their money, they would have me in jail.

Can't even have Sunday dinner without a man "Tom", being rude and like he is an authority figure. When asked to put supervisor on he claims he is the supervisor..He then says that I'm being smart and hangs up.

When I call back, it is someone totally different saying he is the supervisor. Where do these people come from??

I didn't pay nco a dime

AUTHOR: Charles - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 28, 2008

I didn't pay nco a dime even after they threaten me. I had gotten into hardships & got behind on my credit card payments & within a few months the card got charged off.

My credit card company sold it to nco I did not know nco was this bad until I had to deal with one of there collectors who was abusive toward me, they didn't like it cause I hung the phone in there face.

The collector jennifer powell called my house threatening me, after she verbally abused me on the phone this is why I hung the phone in her face boy she really hated that.

She accused me of harassing them calling them & hanging up which is a lie I only called that one time, nobody talks to me likes this I didn't pay them one dime.

She told me I had better call them back & make payment aggrangements I wasn't doing jack, I complained to the Pa attorney general office of course NCO denied there collector abused me verbally.

They said in there response that jennifer powell no longer works for them perhaps she gotten fired well she deserved it, she probally has abused many people before me & had alot of complaints.

Knowing that the law is on your side and not the bottom feeder should help your Sunday dinner

AUTHOR: Faron - (U.S.A.)

You should google FDCPA and read it thoroughly to understand the regulations that governs you the debtor and the third party collector. You have more rights than these bottom feeders. However, first you must never answer the phone and talk to these fools. Then send them a letter requestiing the validation of debt. If it is yours, it's better to deal with Verizon than these screwballs.

Next, send NCO a Cease Communications letter informing them they cannot contact you in any manner. They can contact you only one last time if they want to take you to court or whatever and that's it. Any communication after that can generate a $1,000 penalty plus reasonable attorneys fees and you can obtain a lawyer which will gladly accept this case. Don't be on the defensive; take charge and get on the offense with these morons.

Tactics you describe are illegal

AUTHOR: Zombie Debt Slayer - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 13, 2008

As much as I hate NCO and would love to have a case where they actually threaten to put you in jail, I have my doubts about your claim.

Please do not think I am not on your side - I hate them more than you know. It is just that this is so extreme and in such major violation of all credit laws that it is hard to imagine even them being so stupid.

So, if in fact they threatened you with imprisonment for a debt, know that that type of punishment went out even before abolishing slavery. It is also a threat that violates sections of FCRA and may allow you to seek damages - if you can prove.

Again, not knowing TN laws with respect to taping conversations, you might just as well have a recorder ready and taping so that when they threaten you with jail, advise them that their threat has been recorded. I would argue that any law preventing recording of phone conversations in TN without both parties agreeing would not apply to those calls of a threatening nature - just as a kidnapper's call is not legally protected.

In answer to your question about where these people come from - they are the garbage rejected from employment in corrections.
