Aaah, caged women. There's nothing like the fantasy of a woman
incarcerated who is probably so lonely she's absolutely wanton.

There are thousands of services like this that advertise in newspapers, magazines and now the internet. Many times the incarcerated women:
A) Do not exist;
B) Did not consent to their name being given out;
C) Won't respond to you;
D) Are misrepresented as how they appear;
E) Fully intend to rip you off themselves as soon as they can arrange it; or
F) Do exist and will respond to you in earnest.

Of all scenarios F is the least likely.

You may have lost $9 in the matter. It's up to you as to pursue it. At the very least you should report the site to the ISP and allow them to take action.

If you are lonely and want to meet incarcerated women you can easily do that at no cost through http://writeaprisoner.com/homepage.htm.

Take care and avoid all sites that make you pay for a prisoner's address. There are too many free sites for that.

Also, beware of prisoner pen pal schemes such as:

1) The sob story of "my kids need milk and a warm blanket--no checks please, just money orders or cash".

2) Don't cash any money orders for an inmate. Many times prisoners have mailed dupes money orders that are counterfeit where you are left holding the bag.

Example: They mail you a money order for $1,000.00 and then
give the cash to a friend of hers on the outside who disappears with the money. A few days later the bank debits your account the whole $1,000 because you cashed an altered money order that was originally $10.

Don't let a few bad eggs get in your way. Just keep out of the money game!
