ViewSonic Corporation BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!!! Walnut , California

I too was very happy with my 19" Viewsonic Monitor for almost 3 years, which was the length of the warranty. Then one day it went completely black and the power light was flashing repeatedly.

I contacted support and they walked me through a quick troubleshooting procedure. We finally determined that the monitor needed service. They gave me the address and the RMA# and I sent it back in AT MY EXPENSE AND INSURED WHICH COSTS ALMOST $30 and I was told it would be about 3 weeks to get it repaired and returned back to me.

About 3 weeks later, it arrives, I hook it up and it STILL does NOT work, STILL a black screen.  I call support to find out what do I do now that it's the SAME? They asked me if I installed the "refurbished drivers" on the CD-Rom? I told them I didn't get ANY CD-ROM in the return box. I ask them can I just simply download the necessary drivers from their website? NO!!! You have to EMAIL support and they will have to MAIL YOU THE CD-Rom!!!

Are you kidding me??? So I had to explain the ENTIRE situation, model number, serial number the whole 9 yards all over again... I did ALL OF THIS EARLIER when I sent the monitor to them in the first place.

Anyway, even after doing ALL of that all over again and WAITING FOR MY CD-Rom to arrive, it NEVER DID ARRIVE!! I waited 45 days and nothing. So I sent them a copy of my email from 45 days ago and it has now been ANOTHER 30 DAYS & NO CD-Rom!!!

So, IF you are in the market for a monitor (OR a TV from reading the other complaints), DO NOT BUY ANY VIEWSONIC PRODUCT. The support is EITHER WORTHLESS (MY situation) OR NON-EXISTANT (as another user mentioned)  and they just DON'T care about your problem.

AFTER reading the complaints here on Rip Off Report, WHY would you EVER EVEN CONSIDER buying ANYTHING from them??? You are just asking for trouble, so spend your money wisely AND ALWAYS check here FIRST before you do, so you know what kind of company you are giving your hard-earned money to.

There ARE reputable companies that HAVE A COMPETENT SUPPORT SYSTEM in place to handle any problem after the sale. Unfortunately, Viewsonic is NOT one of them.

You've been WARNED!!!
