Stay away from www.vintage-airstream.com website and from MACGREGOR! Ebay id on EBAY motors. This is a scam. Many people have been scammed by this guy ( Gregory Gibson, who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina - USA ) and who is using these both websites to sale Airstream travel trailers and to scam International Buyers. Complaints have been posted to Department of Justice in North Carolina and a lawsuit has been opened against him for scam and fraud. Do not take any risk and do not wire any funds to this guy who is a welknown scammer.
I have been scammed by this guy while purchasing a vintage airstream trailer on his website www.vintage-airstream.com. He was selling an Airstream trailer twice and of course never deliver my Airstream. He kept my money and never answered to many emails from North Carolina Department of Justice letters. Many others Airstream buyers have been scammed by him. So if your seller is Gregory Gibson from Charlotte (NC), or MACGREGOR! ( on EBay Motors), or if you use vintage-airstream.com website, do not take any risk and never deal with this guy. you should lost your time and your money.

We are perhaps on the good way to solve our problem with vintage-airstream.com web site owner. A mutual incomprehension probably related to our differences in perception, behavior in business and linguage, in our respective countries, has made us very suspicious towards each other and very anxious about the sale transaction. But after talking about the problem between us and our respective reactions analysis, we could have found a solution. This proves the honesty of both parties and the willingness to complete the transaction calmly. I asked the Rippof administrator to remove my complaint, but it does not seem to be possible. so I publish this development to describe and update the case. If I get my money back in a few weeks, I should be able to confirm that the deal I did on vintage-airstream.com was without problem and risk. If I could not get my money back, I should confirm, with regrets, that the transaction was not fair and dishonnest. So I shall update definitly the case at the end of the new transaction with the seller. I hope very shortly and in a positive way. Wait and see....
