Ordered from the Vinyl Revolution website in September 2011 for a CD copy of a record.  Credit card immediately charged for $55 but no e-mail confirmation. Called them in early November since it had not come, and they said they were working on it.

Tried calling in December, their voice mail was full, so could leave no messages, and there is no other contact info on their website.  Voice mail was full every time I called for next few weeks.  Found an address for them in Butte, Montana, on the Internet at a Better Business website.  I sent registered mail to that address in early January complaining.  Letter came back undeliverable.  Found a Missoula address and tried that, but letter again came back.

In January, filed a complain with Montana Better Business Bureau as well as the Montana Consumer protection agency.  Better Business told me they had gone out of business, and BB has updated their site with a warning.  See: http://www.bbb.org/eastern-washington/business-reviews/compact-discs-tapes-and-records-retail/vinyl-revolution-in-butte-mt-5005557/.

However, the vinyl revolution website still seems up and running!  Do not throw away your money ordering from them.  They cannot be contacted, since their only listed contact number has full mail box and they have no address available anywhere.

VinlyRevolution is owned and operated by an upstanding Christian family, and I am sure that your claims can be explained otherwise.

After filing formal complaint, finally received money back

AUTHOR: Sam in Vancouver, WA - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 04, 2012

I had filed a complaint with the Montana Consumer Protection agency about this in January.  Finally, in late March 2012, Vinyl Revolution called me and agreed to refund my money.  I received a check around April 1, 2012.  They said it can sometimes take months (!?) to reproduce albums, something definitely not mentioned on their website.  I am sure the main reason they refunded my money was because I got the state involved in a formal complaint, and they had clearly taken my money and given me nothing in return.  In my mind, they are a very sketchy business, and it did take several months to get my money back.  I would not do business with them again.  Also, as noted they could not be reached by phone for weeks because their voice mail was full.
