Walgreens Pharmacy raised the price of my Warfarin prescription from $32 for 90 days to $64 for 84 days on the Walgreen Prescription Savings Club. When I queried the pharmacist he had no answer other than the manufacturer had doubled the price. I called Walgreens corporate customer service and was told the same thing. I checked with our local Walmart Pharmacy and discovered their price was $10 for 90 days. And they had not heard of a price increase from the manufacturer. I can only surmise that Walgreens will rip-off their best customers to increase their bottom line.
