They sent me a check for 1, 970.00 to be a mystery shopper

it said to just go on the web site activate the check then deposit check in to my bank account 

The check was denied 4 times at 3different places

I recieved a letter and a check in the mail for $1,990.19 from Wal-Mart super centers in Bentonville Arkansas and i was reading the check and the paper that was included in the envelope and what the instructions was and something just didnt seem right about what i was reading.

When I started researching everything I found this wesite Ripoff Report and The report that has been made already on this scam is the same exact thing as I have. I looked at the pictures that was provided and it matches identical except the check amount is different!

What is wrong with people in the world today?? I dont understand why someone would want to make someone think that they might just have some exta money for their kids for christmas and then thank god I had enough sense to research this and see that is is fraud!! I hope who ever is doing this is caught and thrown into jail!!!!

No one bothered to explain this was a scam?

4 refusals in three locations and no one explained to you that this is a popular scam called "The Mystery Shopper" scam?

Thats so weird, at least the place that tried to process it twice shyould have figured it out!

Walmart Services Group This has caused me great stress, and mental anguish. i have had to put off important business calls, and appointments. Contact my Bank, file reports for this scam,,etc. I am now very concerned and suspicious of who has my personal info, that could just send me a check of $1,990.19 with my full name and address. This has surely opened my eyes. Bentonville Arkansas

Walmart Services Group This group sent me a bogus check advising me to first confirm online before depositing it in my bank,I then could use some of the money to purchase item's,scan the receipt,send it to them and they would give me another assignment for more pay however once the check is in the bank they quickly withdraw it and your stuck paying back the bank. I reported it to the police,and they filed a complaint and will take necessary steps. Internet Arkansas
