we stayed at the camping resort and we had no idea that our tickets were only good for the time we were checked in. we thought we had another day left on our tickets and we really didnt. we bought the ultimate park hopper package.

We also found out that check out times didnt sound right. first of all you cant check in until 1 pm and you have to check out by 11 am. This is not a good deal at all and we will never do it again. I would never have bought the resort stay if I had known this! and I read all the disclosure agreements. be very carefull buying on line with disney!

Can you visit the park on the day of checkout?

AUTHOR: Dave - (Canada)

POSTED: Monday, May 15, 2006

I'm less than rich, so when my family visited Disneyland, we didn't stay at the resort.

But if you buy through the resort, shouldn't you be allowed to visit the park on the day of checkout?

That would be the "extra day" by my accounting. If they don't let you, then I'd agree with the Rip Off.

Check in/out times seem more than reasonable. I've come across places that want you out by 10am and won't let you in until after 4pm.
(Now that I try to think of just where that was, I own a timeshare there.)

It's the same across the board

AUTHOR: Ginger - (U.S.A.)

Pamela,

It the same across the board with check in and check outs. Don't assume that every poster is a Disney employee covering their a**. I don't work for Disney, but I do have the common sense to know that check in is aprox 1 to 3 and check out is 10 to noon.

Not an Employee, but Agree with Other Posts

AUTHOR: Jade - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 01, 2005

I totally disagree that these people in the rebuttals are Disney employees. I don't think they need employees to lie about their identities to give positive comments because there are hundreds of thousands of fans like myself that will support them whole heartedly. I have been to Disney World 3 times (this summer will make 4) and Disneyland twice. I have always been satisfied with everything and have many happy memories there. The first thing I thought when I read the complaint was that the site specifies that the park hopper passes are only good for the length of your stay.

I also knew that standard hotel check in is later than check out because as someone else said, housekeeping has to clean the rooms. I would be happy with a 1pm check-in because most hotels I have stayed in had a 3pm check-in (and noon checkout). But I have never had a problem arranging a later check out or earlier check in if I arranged it in advance (although variations over 2 hours most likely will require a fee).

Always read the fine print. It's there for a reason.

How are the check out times a rip off?

AUTHOR: Shawn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 30, 2003

Corey,

3 words for you:

"Knock Knock, Housekeeping."

from the time you check out at 10 am to the time the next person checks in is the time that the housekeeping staff has to make up your room.

I, for one, don't enjoy sleeping in someone else's filth, so I don't mind grabbing a margarita and just enjoying the resorts until my room is made up.

Food for thought.

Most places you stay have these same standard check out times. Infact many make you get out my 10 and won't let you check-in until 3.

You must have misunderstood

AUTHOR: Regina - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 26, 2003

Corey,

You must have missed something when you read your agreements. I checked Disney's web page and is says right on the web page when it decribes the ultimate park hopper package that the tickets are good "from the moment of check in until the end of the day on checkout".

I am not a frequent Disney traveler but this has been made known to me both times I have traveled there.
