I called Wanda to ask her is she would be able to tell where one of my Employee's was.  The Employee is currently on house arrest.  I told her I wated to make sure he was OK as I had ot heard from him.  She became very rude and started to yell at me.  I asked her why she was being rude and she started screaming telling me I had a crazy request.  I was just looking for information, there was no need to scream at me, act crazy and hang up.

Lee's Home Confinement Dedicated to Privacy and Professionalism

In the original report, the claim was made that Wanda refused to disclose the employee's location. This is the sign of a very dedicated and honorable business person. From what you claim, you pushed her into releasing confidential information and when she refused, you were upset and decided to ruin her reputation with slander. Let me first state that I have been on an ankle monitoring program in my past, and I have used Lee's Home Confinement for the completion of the court mandated electronic monitoring service. During the entire process, she was reasonable and quite helpful in ensuring that I successfully complete my home confinement. This in of itself will not and should not be the sole factor in determining that this business is legitimate and honest, so I will proceed to disclose State of Georgia law code which undoubtedly verify that she had done only what she was legally required to do.

According to O.C.G.A 42-1-8 'Home arrest' means an electronic monitoring of an offender at a residence approved and accepted by the court, the sheriff, or the director or administrator of the home arrest program. Furthermore, O.C.G.A. 42-1-5. “Use of inmate for private gain” states the following:...

(2) "Inmate" means any person who is lawfully incarcerated in a penal institution.

(3) "Penal institution" means any place of confinement for persons accused of or convicted of violating a law of this state or an ordinance of a political subdivision of this state.

(b) It shall be unlawful for a custodian of an inmate of a penal institution to use such inmate or allow such inmate to be used for any purpose resulting in private gain to any individual.

The previous Official Code of Georgia determines that the use of an inmate, in this case the inmate would be an inmate of Lee’s Home Confinement, which is acting as the custodian for the inmate as required by the state of Georgia in response to an official order for the inmate to be under “Home Arrest”!

If she was to disclose the location of the inmate for personal gain, i.e. the employer’s micro-management, then both parties would be guilty of a misdemeanor. To even ask for someone to break the law for your own benefit is a very strange to do, and to post negative comments in regards to this when they refuse, is just slanderous and immature.

For all parties that choose to pay heed to these reports, please do some research and compare the number of years this company has been doing business to the one in-accurate report of a disgruntled employer trying to ruin a business’s reputation for doing nothing more than following the law.
