in 2001 wamu charged off an account for 214.00. i had for gotten this accoount and in april 2007 i opened another account with them. i had a direct deposit and was very pleased with wamu until one day i went online to view my statement and there was an account with a zero balance labeled preire gold checking i called wamu and asked them why was this account linked to my current account because i only had one the lady on the phone told me not to worry it was closed and nothing was owed on it. the next day which was a mon i tried to order pizza fpr my family nad my card was denied i called wamu they told me my account was fozen and i needed to talk to risk-op when i spoke with risk-op i talked to a lady named cynthia u explained to her that my card was frozen and i waas concerned she told me it was due to an account from 2001 i asked her is it would affect my current account and could she release my card she then told me to call er solutions to resolve this matter and yes it would affect my current account i told her i didnt want my current afffected and she told me it woiuld be as soon as i got off the phone with her i called custmer service at wamu and found she had charged my account 564.00 i thought the issue was over and my card was released the next day tues i csouldnt use my card i called wamu agan and they suggesred i file a dispute in the branch..i went to the branch and was told by the bank manger to take sll my money out of the bank and never bank with them again..i cried i was so hurt and devasted i begged wamu to let me keep my acciount and tried to convince them to keep the money i owed they refused they handed me my money and sent me on my way.
