Waste Industries buys out smaller trash collection services, limiting access to alternate companies.  Once bought out, you arent given an option, they just proceed to bill you.  If they assume your contract, they do not supply you with new cans.  You are already locked in because one they bill you, you cannot cancel without paying for the entire quarter.

If your invoice is in Dec and you do not cancel before the end of the month, for the next 3 months, they will charge you the cost for the next 3 months.  Even though you never signed any contract or agreement with them, and were not given a choice about selction, they will say you agreed by paying the bill) which you had to or pay for service you werent going to use) , and then attempt to take all your disposal cans, saying they acquired them in the purchase. Instead of stopping service if you do not RENEW, they just charge you and send to collectors for the next qtr. Once you call, they still charge you.

So, even though you did not pay the bill for the oncoming month, never signed a contract with them in the first place, called to cancel before the first service in the next cycle, you are still responsible for the bill, late fees and the increase in charges (up 20.00 from the previous bill) for the next 3 months.  And your account gets sent to collections.
