I am a teacher in Fresno that works hard for my money. This so called W D Cali Premier Books of Fresno took my money in the form of a check and never delivered the products I had ordered over 4 weeks ago. The phone number they give never gets answered. It is a scam, they have done this to other people I know. They used to be a door to door sales company that left their customers high and dry as well. They claim to have products that are up to 75% off retail but what most people don't know is that their supplier, Innovage products of Southern California, sells the same products at Rite Aid, Walgreens and CVS, among many other retail outlets at the same price or lower. They bring the products to you but add on to the price to cover their fuel and traveling expenses. Why pay retail? is their slogan. You are paying retail when you compare their prices to the prices in the store. They also claim to be tied to DARE america and that all of their sales contribute to the youth of the area. This is an absolute scam, the money that you are spending does not go in to the local community, it goes to the national fund in Los Angeles, from there, who knows where it goes. I called DARE and spoke to Misti Bell Banks and she said that their partnership is almost up and the money that Premier Books has donated to their cause has to be requested by local police agencies and does not go in to local programs unless requested. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND! I SURE LEARNED THE HARD WAY. I THINK I WILL CALL THE FRESNO SCHOOL DISTRICT TO LET THEM KNOW OF THE SCAM THAT WD CALI PREMIER BOOKS OF FRESNO HAS STARTED IN THEIR SCHOOLS.
