I unfortunately fell for it. I received the phone call from Joe Mirabella. He wouldn't tell me how he got my phone number. He was quite persistent about helping me get started in real estate. He belittled me for not making the decision immediately. After quite a few minutes on the phone with him, I reluctantly made the decision to start the program. What a mistake!! He had a number of plans. I chose the one for $4550.

They gave my name to the Tax Club and I signed up for them. I spent a lot of money and recieved no services. I requested the Tax Club refund my money because I apparently knew more about the tax laws than the person answering my questions. I have proof of this. I'm waiting to see if they will reimburse me. They said I can't get my monthly fees back.

They gave my number to Manhattan Professional Group. I spent a lot of money and received no services. I requested a refund from the Manhattan Professional Group because they hadn't provided me all the materials promised and their online bookkeeping program was not user friendly. Unfortunately, they said I had 60 days to cancel and it's been much longer than 60 days. I think failure to provide services is grounds for full reimbursement.

They gave my number to the Advantage Corporation. At least I have a business set up even though Advantage Corporation charges excessive fees for their work compared to others.

I wish I knew up front the costs associated with this. Even though I read the material and had my meetings, I didn't learn anything new from WIN Coaching. They have nothing special in their materials.

I'm in the military. I can't afford to pay for "services" like this. I wish I found this site earlier. I can't believe I'm doing "business" with companies like this.

I asked for my money back from Mark Varone. He refused and became belligerent with me on the phone. Mark finally told me how they got my number. I want my money back. I need some help.

An Approach

The Tax Club informed me they would look at the issue and provide a response within 30 days. They have less than 10 days to provide a refund. Even though they provided no service, they said they could not refund the monthly charges. I intend to write to the State Attorney General's Office in Arizona nd New York. I would encourage you to do the same as most Attorney General Offices won't do anything unless there is more than one complaint - at least that's what I've been told. I also intend to write to the FTC and you shoudl too if they misrepresented to you, too. They can be fined up to $11,000 for each offense. I intend to contact the FTC and the Attorney General's Office about the Manhattan Professional Group as they've not responded and they've not refunded my money even though they didn't provide the services they said they would.

I have also been affected by similar scam with Tax Club but I tried to cancel within 24 hours and they are trying to keep 15% of my money instead of give me a full refund. They had not done anything for me within 24 hours and they didn't even post the charge on my card until 3 full days afterwards. I had called my credit card to cancel immediately and was told that no charge had gone through. They could have stopped the charge from going through after I had given them email notification that I wanted to cancel within 24 hours but they still posted the charge, just so they can keep 15% of the money. SCAM if you ask me. They have to resort to tactics like that to get income. The company is definitely not legit.

I bet if you ask Win Coaching, maybe they didn't even give the Tax Club your contact information. They probably said that just so they can take advantage of you and your relationship with that business. I found out that Tax Club wasn't even associated with the company I dealt with. They made false statements in the sales pitch. I found out that if they misrepresented themselves over the phone that their contract isn't valid. You should probably check on that.

Good luck to you with everything. I hope we both will get successful ending to our complaints.
