Clarification: This rebuttal is being presented by a WEMUS Productions Partner, not the owner as stated in the title of the response.

Alex, It is indeed unfortunate that you "Received Information" which con-notates that you received it from some third party individual other than your own personal experience with WEMUS Productions.

You have never made any contact with us to substantiate what you accuse us of.

However I would ask, If I "received" such "information", was or is it verifiable to be true? Which leads me to believe I know who your source is.

A former disgruntled partner who shall remain nameless. This is just "childish" behavior against WEMUS because when he worked with us he hardly ever communicated with us.

You go on to state that we solicit writers for their stories for; your word; "plagiarising". Please learn to use the word correctly and in proper context.

For the record, we have never solicited any writers for materials. WEMUS has a slate of its own completed screenplays, 16 scripts and another 15 stories in various stages of research and writing.

We do have one screenplay we have written by one of our associate writers, "not a WEMUS partner"' who is going through a major life changing event and is allowing us to write and represent his story idea since he is not in the position to do so at this time. If you had the facts before posting your report you would have known this instead of "I received information".

The stories submitted by our former partner have been taken off our projects list as they were not ours. We have no plans to infringe on his creativity. His stories are unique and funny and we wish him all the best.

We meet many people in the entertainment industry, it's called networking with your peers.

You go on to say that we work out of a home. Hmmm, lets look at this closely. Did you know that Demian Lichtenstein, the writer, producer, director of "3000 Miles to Graceland", starring Kurt Russel and Kevin Costner, works out of his home in Los Angeles. Let's not forget George Lucas, he works out of his home in Marin County in Northern California.  Charlene Blaine-Schulenburg producer, writer and winner of multiple Indie Movie awards for "Reach for Me", works from home.

Yes we admit that WEMUS is new to the "Indie Movie" industry and we have made great strides. It's attributed to the hard work of our core "partners" who continually communicate, collaborate, write, network with other like minded industry people and we work closely together. We have never presented ourselves as being "Movie Moguls" and never will. The former partner has represented himself to be the owner of WEMUS. If you Google WEMUS Productions you will find this misrepresentation. WEMUS is and always has been a partnership not an ownership.

Alex, we have recently secured an office in Santa Monica California on Olympic Blvd. We gladly extend an open invitation to you, stop by, and discuss fully what WEMUS Productions is doing to accomplish our "partners" goals.

As I searched through other complaint here at "Rip Off Report" the reports are indeed "verifiable" and "egregious" and first person accounts of their personal experiences with whom they have personally dealt with.  I do not see the correlation; you stated: "Received Information" of your unsubstantiated allegations.

We ask for no apology, just the chance to present the facts in an open forum as you have chosen to do here at "Rip Off Report" and over at "Yelp".

It is unfortunate that you may be the victim of a childish vindictive individual who will not man up and admit to his own faults.

I have faults, my partners have faults. However, we refuse to use public forums to be vindictive.
