I sent a minimal fee to Nichols Country Crafts (out of Memphis, TN) for a list of companies that offer work-at-home projects - one of which was Western Leather Creations. Nichols states that these are legitimate companies that they have checked out.
I indicated to Nichols from the beginning that I was a single mother recently diagnosed with a serious health problem. I was looking for a way to make extra money from home and didn't have a lot of money to spare.
For a $3.00 fee, Nichols mailed me a lengthy list of companies offering a wide range of projects. Nichols charges $15.00 for an application for each company you are interested in. I received the application for Western Leather Creation which listed $32.50 as the cost of the start-up kit AND if sent by money order, the order would be mailed within 7 days. Obviously, the kit was never received.
