Im insured through Westfield Insurance.I recently had a breakin AND entering at a property I currently rent.I had 2 go karts stolen that I just recently acquired. The thieves pryed off the lock to gain entry through the door way into the garage I rent.Once inside they cut 3 pad locks off a heavy duty log chain I had to secure my go karts with. From there they lifted the over head garage door and left with the property they stole.I called the police who came and did a report and took pictures.I then called my insurance company and reported the theft to them.I got a call later from a Westfield claims rep from the number 1-800-472-9527 ext 4451050.I explained to this lady what happend and it didnt take her long to deny my claim. She said that a GO-KART was considered a Recreational Vehicle and would not be covered. But on page 13 of 44 pages it says " WE DO COVER PROPERTY RENTED OR HELD FOR RENTAL TO OTHERS OFF THE RESIDENCE PREMISES. I live on one Premises, and I rent a garage at another Premises where my property was stolen. It is plain and simple to see that WESTFIELD INSURANCE did not waste anytime making a quick decision to deny my claim even before they got the police report.

This Westfield Insurance Company is a BIG RIPPOFF. They take your money quick and THEN send you 44 pages to read. They DO NOT TELL YOU WHAT IS COVERED AND NOT,they simply take your money and say your covered and have a good day...I had no idea my property was not covered being as I just got the go karts a few weeks prior to the theft. I am now looking for another insurance company to deal with.Im looking for a insurance company who can be trusted.WESTFIELD INSURANCE COMPANY is a big ripp off, only out for themselfs. They screwed me,,they ripped me off and Im d**n mad. I hope others  learn from my hard lesson and go anywhere else for insurance and do not even consider this ripp off company known to me as 'Westfield Insurance".

You only mentioned a small portion of the text from the Coverages Section.  You failed, however, to mention the huge section on Exclusions which specifically excludes coverage extending to off-road vehicles where the occurrence is not on an insured's property as listed on your declaration's page.

I assume that you failed to mention to your insurance agent that you were renting a garage that you wanted coverage for its contents, nor did you inquire about scheduling the go-karts on your policy.  Oh, that's right, because it would cost you more.

Don't blame Westfield.  I bet you probably lost any proof of purchase for the go-karts too.  You probably paid cash and threw away the receipt.
