I filed a Chapter 7 and was sent a flyer in the mail from Tidewater Credit which is suppose to be a finance company to help people rebuild their credit. I called to inquire about the flyer and was told to fill out on online application(I did that), I spoke with a salesman by the name of Mark. He gathered all my information and in a couple of days called me back to let me know that I had been approved with no money down and asked when can I come to pick out my car. I told him that I could come on Friday, he agreed and stated that he would be on vacation but there would be someone there to help me. It was my understanding that all my paperwork was taken care of but when I got there, they still wanted this and that; talking loud and hollering about how much I make per hr(which was none of anybody's business that was in the same room) Rich(finance Manager) asked me what brand of vehicle was I looking for and I told him a 2013-2014 Malibu. He gave me a list of cars and told me this is what you pretty much qualify for(a 2013 Malibu was amongst the other 5-6 cars). Mickey, took us out there to look and to my suprise we could not find the one Malibu and could not find the keys to another. Finally we found the car(gray), took it for a spin and came back and someone had found the keys to the other(gold Malibu). I inspected the gray Malibu and its rims were torn up and I asked if they could be replaced; Rich said no and that's the reason the car was selling for $16,000 which was some b*******. I ended up getting the car, the filled the tank up and I left.

About a week passed and I didn't hear from Rich not Prestige Financial about finalizing the loan and then one day Rich calls me talking about he need this and that or I would have to bring him $500 and sign a new contract to stay in the car.(Nope, wasn't going to do that)They wanted information that did not even concern them because I was in a Chapter 7, he did everything he could to get they vehicle back and I agreed to let him have it but he thought I was going to bring the car to save him money; NO Sir!! He told me that it was f***** up that I didn't want to bring the car, well he had sent a wrecker truck just days before to pick the car up(the wrecker driver told me but Rich never told me he did that), anyways he tried to talk down on me like oh nobody is going to approve you; well I have a 2012 Altima that I never intended on giving back to my finance company so I really didnt need financing.

Rich is very unprofessional, the car dealership sell lemons because the Malibu had transmission problems and when I informed him of it, Rich said,"that should be one of the main reasons you want to give us the car back. Very bad experience and I DO NOT recommend anyone to deal with this dealership. Their cars are wrecked and repaired, rental cars that have been flooded out or have salt damage or they have some kind of problem that you are out of pocket for because the car does not have a Warranty. The finance company Prestige works with these wholesale lots hand and hand to scam customers as well. Rich tell you one thing and they tell you another and then will say that its up to the dealership but they are funding them. Their staff is horrible just as Rich is and all day long he sits at that desk scamming people and telling lies.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS LOT......WHOLESALE AUTOMART/ACA WHOLESALE!!!!

sorry but this is not a rip off at all. This is a customer who has made a fool of themselves and now is crying about it because they arE negligent. I'm sorry but you said it yourself you bought a car from a wholesale lot with no warranty, you got what you paid for. Obviously there was a mistake on some paperwork and you didn't get approved for your loan so they asked for the car back.  It seems that your complaint is based on the fact that you got denied on your first loan and they found out about it after they gave you a car. Now your complaining about a car you had no warranty on. Please let the real people post rip offs that actually did get ripped off!!!!  I am here to help people specifically in automotive who have been ripped off. You just were not in this case.  Sorry if your offended but it's the truth , you are the one in chapter 7 not them.
