This "spyware" or "security" or whatever you want to call it, showed up on my computer late yesterday afternoon. I didn't pay much attention to it then because it was late in the day and I was going home. However, when I got in this morning and turned on the computer, its virus report showed up and I have not been able to get anything accomplished since.
It seems like every minute it pops up saying I have 14 viruses that are trying to get into my computer. One is trying to get my credit card information to transmit to an outside party.
If you click for it to remove these viruses, a screen comes up for you to order the software. If you tell it to go ahead and work without removing these viruses, it asks if you are "shure". That's right. It spells it wrong!
This is a constant! I have sent 2 notices to their "on-line support" asking where they came from and telling them to go back because I do not want it. I have not received any reply.
In checking this out, I have found that this is a fake company and is just a way to get people to sign up so they can take out money.
Pass this along to your friends so they will not fall into this trap.
