I have a 13yr old and 17yrold son that went into the verizon wireless with out my knowledge and order a replacement phone! This store allowed under age children to order a phone on my account and even let them change the shipping address to another home! Verizon wireless zone milford ma 01757 should not have allowed this and i think action should be taken for this! This store went into my account and did whatever they pleased!

Your right

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

There should be action taken for this.  The ones that need a "talkin' to" is your kids.

They obviously had enough information to access your account and it is very possible that the 17 year old could have appeared old enough to be over 18 where they wouldn't question it figuring they had permission.  Your kids also obviously did not want you to know about it because they had it shipped to another address.

While I am sure you want to think your kids can do no wrong, in this case they did.  Depending on exactly how they did this and if they tried this with the wrong person, they may have actually ended up being arrested Identity Theft.  So while any consequences is your choice, at the very least I hope you took their phones away and made them pay any costs that were incurred.

How did this 13 year old and 17 year old

get your account username and password?

I can't do anything but browse my Verizon site without entering my username and password.  How is yours any different?

My guess is, Verizon had a very minor role, if any, in this and the 13 & 17 year olds should be grounded for  quite awhile...and oh yeah, take away the phone.

If you don't follow up,  and continue to put the blame on Verizon, your boys will not get a good lesson from this.
