Wochovia Bank W.C. Processing Criminal Charges if not paid Unknown California

Normally I can spot a scam a mile away. This one got me! Thankfully it was only 50.00. Heres how it went.

I recieved a bill stating that I owed Wochovia bank money from an old account.( I had opened the account 8 years ago had never recieved checks, debit card, anything other than some letter in the mail saying some how I had opened this account. ) That I owed close to 800.00 bucks. I set it aside to deal with. I then get this call saying that I was going to be charged with Felony Bank Fraud if I didn't pay 417. I panic'd I was set up on a payment plan. Paid my inital 50.00 payment and told that I would get an email to sign and send back. Well after not getting the email I called back they had spelt my email wrong. So the man claims he will send another to a correct account. Still have not recieved email. However on the news they talk about scam. OUCH!!
