Wolverine Mutual Insurance Company Billing for non licensed minor. Dowagiac Michigan

In 2011 my son turned 16, but due to the fact that he was having grand maul seizures there was no way I would be allowing him behind the wheel of a car.  My boyfriend and I had been disucssing all the issues that come with a 16 year old and were in disagreement on the insurance.  To see if he was right or wrong he called wolverine and asked.  They then began billing us for a licensed 16 year old driver.  I called immediately upon recieving the bill and explained the situation asking them to remove the undue fee.  They refused and so I left Wolverine and refused to pay the bill that should have never been charged.  They were apathetic in their handling of the situtation.  This bill was later turned over to collections and still sits on my credit report.  Today, in an effort to obtain some business funding I was told that I needed that to be off of my record.  So in great anger and resentment I paid the $162.00 for a non licensed driver to be insured to drive.
