World Wide Timeshare Sales ripoff, sales scam Orlando Florida

I was contacted be a man (Jason Holbrook)stating he was calling from my home resort, he stated "I have a family here on vacation and they are interested in buying your timeshare. He then proceeded to tell me that he saw where we had listed this property with another internet site, and that he thought he could have the Attorney General's office get that amount refunded to us.

He stated in order to make the sale, they needed $850.00 today, and that we would have the total amount for the sale, within 2 weeks. He also went on to say, "There will be another company call you to verify this transaction, and be sure when they ask you if you have this listed by anyone else, or do you currently have a buyer for this property, you tell them "NO". He also stated a packet for the sale would be FedEx'd to us within 2 days, after 2 months, we still have not seen this packet.

After trying multiple times to contact Mr. Holbrook, we never have been able to talk to him. We did talk to several other people, who all gave us the run around. Once I called back and stated I wanted my credit card refunded for the $850.00, I was told "Good luck, you gave us permission over the phone to pay it". We had also contacted the company within the stated time limit to cancel the transaction, and World Wide Timeshare Sales would not return oyur calls, nor have they refunded the money after multiple calls to the Customer Service number and multiple times af requesting the add be cancelled over the internet.

I have reported this to BBB and in process of filing with the Federal Trade Commision.
