The original complaint was filed by a spammer

AUTHOR: Cheri - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 07, 2009

I would ignore the complaint filed by the original individual in this case since it was filed by the same SPAMMER who filed a completely fabricated report against me. The purpose? To later blackmail companies to purchase their "Search Engine Removal" service for $599. This amounts to nothing more than illegal blackmail.

So in this case, I side with the company 100% and I would definately buy from this company. If I were them, i'd file a lawsuit against the poster for libel as they are not legit. I am currently running an informative website to EXPOSE their libel and show the world what they truely are: Desparate spamming idiots who obviously can't make any money off their ghetto record promotion company or the other MLM scams they run. See the details at my website (seoteamusa.net) I purchased the .NET version of their domain (and other domains) as a nice smack right between their eyes!

I hope my information is of some value.

Thank you,

Bearers of Justice

Response from Kayako's Operations Manager

AUTHOR: Jamie Edwards @ Kayako - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Thursday, March 12, 2009

My name is Jamie Edwards. I am Kayako's Operations Manager, employed by our office in Boise, Idaho.

Kayako was founded in 2001, and is a subsidiary of Aniki Exports, a private company established by (CEO) Varun Shoor, based in Punjab, India. We develop and sell web based support desk software and live chat solutions. We have more than 30,000 customers worldwide. You can find out more about the company here: http://www.kayako.com/

- We offer subscription based 'leased licenses' and 'hosted versions' of our support desk software which do involve recurring credit card billing.

- Customers can cancel their subscription at any time by submitting a support ticket, e-mailing sales@kayako.com or by initiating a live chat with one of our sales representatives on our website.

- We always process and respond promptly to cancellation requests.

- Our payment handler is WorldPay. We are obliged by their code of conduct. We do not store any credit card details on our own systems; we are only able to take payments processed by WorldPay.

- The only way we are able to take recurring payments for our subscription based licenses is if the customer created an account and purchased a license on our website.

- Kayako is a member of the BBB. https://www.bbb.org/online/consumer/cks.aspx?ID=1081212131943960 - we meet all BBBOnLine participation and Better Business Bureau accreditation standards, and we are therefore authorized to display the BBB Accredited Business seal.

- I have searched our customer database and our support desk for the name "Tgeyer", but nothing shows up. I cannot confirm whether or not "Tgeyer" is a Kayako customer.

If Tgeyer would like to update this report or e-mail me (my address is at the end of this post) with his order number, a WorldPay transaction ID or the e-mail address he used when making his purchase, I will investigate this matter with urgency.

On behalf of Kayako, I would like to assure anyone reading this report that we are not a fraudulent company and take exception to any such accusation. Kayako support desk software is used by thousands of organizations worldwide. We are a trusted brand and have a reputation for good support and customer service. We are wholly committed to our customers both past and present.

If people would like to contact me directly about this matter, my e-mail address is: jamie&edwards@kayako.com
