On Aprile 21st 2014 I paid Wuala $75 via paypal for a year of cloud storage with the company. It operated fine but I needed to change my username after making a mistake filling out my profile. I deleted my old username and created a new one emailed the company on more then four occasions asking them to take my paid storage and associate it with my new account. I know there was some confusion surrounding which account was supposed to be the working one, but I outlined it all very clearly in an email.

The company emailed me back and said that the storage had been cancelled and there was no longer any paid storage available to transfer anywhere. I sent them a copy of the receipt I received through paypal and they haven't responded despite multiple emails.

The company cutoff my full year of prepaid storage mere months after paying for it and refuses to respond when asked about reactivating my storage.

In the attached photos I screenshotted that I have yet to receieve a response from multiple emails I've sent them.

As you can see they have yet to reply to a number of emails I sent asking them to transfer my paid storage to a new account. I get no confirmation, instead I get an email saying "Unfortunately, the storage shows up as cancelled. This means that something at Paypal went wrong." I check my paypal account and the payment went through just fine, but since it's past 45 days I cannot file a claim.

After I get this email I proceed to email the paypal receipt twice to them... no response.

Finally I sent them the link to this RipOff Report and they email me back patronizing and antagonizing me being sarcastic all the while calling me a liar.

It would seem to me that their various email accounts - sales@wuala.com, social@wuala.com, support@wuala.com have people responding to them who do not coordinate or talk to eachother, perhaps a good CRM should be in their future, so they can SEE that I DID email them multiple times on multiple accounts asking for my PAID storage to be transferred. Instead I get emails saying the storage was cancelled and to talk to Paypal, or I get no response at all!

In the end I did finally get a response, in the form of them clinging to one email they sent me as opposed to the various emails I sent them that went unanswered as you can see in the screenshots above.

Wrong Accusations

This customer is wrongly accusing us. His online storage was valid from the day he purchased it (and still is), so there was no "cut off service" or anything the like that he is accusing us of.

The reason for this might be that he created several user accounts and most probably didn´t remember for which account he purchased the storage for.

He never replied to our last email from 9th July asking him for his username and instead filed this report.
