I forgot to add, the dealer was ok with the denial, as then they could charge $475 for what is probably a $100 repair job.

They had earlier hit me with a $250 battery. Apparently Cadillac will not let Pep Boys or Goodyear sell its batteries, it insists on dealers only, which allows a better markup margin.

What did I expect for $53,000, I should have bought a Lexus.
