The $4.95 "free" trial is a sham. After my account was charged $114.95 I contacted the company. They informed me that once I enetered my credit card info (for the $4.95 shipping charge) a "disclaimer" had been disclosed stating that 14 days after the product was ordered a $114 charge would apply. I am usually very careful about such things, so honestly, I do not know if that was the case or not. However, perhaps I missed something, so I swallowed my frustration and plugged in the device. Nothing. I tried all of the cartridges, hoping perhaps they were what was defective. Nope. The product was defective. Then I realized I had never been sent the usb charger. So, I called the company. They sent a usb charger and new battery and informed me that the battery could not be plugged in more than 2 hours or it would burn out.I was disgusted.. who doesnt plug these things in overnite for use in the morning? But, I followed their advice (which is nowhere stated in the instructions for use, by the way) and attempted to use the $114 + $4.95 product. Guess what? It vaguely worked the first time (a little vapor was created, and the tip glowed red), then nothing. Completely unusable. So I called the company again and asked for my money back. They refused. They say that in that disclaimer, after two weeks your money is nonrefundable. Apparently, they feel this also means to include if the product is poorly made and engineered and completely defective and useless. They informed me that as a "one time courtesy" they will reship an entire new kit. Hopefully, this one will actually work, however, I will still be filing a complaint with the BBB and reporting this experience to the Attorney General's office for malicious and fraudulent business practices.
