Six months waiting for my rebate and now the offer to send instead of my $60 check a item that retails all over the internet for just 29.99 on blackmail on top of the ripoff.

I had enough with the mail in rebates ripoff.. they play with the customer's greed... the truth is that most of the times the items are closeout, refurbished or grossly overpriced...I can find a way better deal shopping around the internet without the risk of this crooks keeping my money.
live and learn...
Never a rebate again...
MAXTOR and Maddog and Compusa almost always honor their rebates though.
