YELP.COM restaurant reviews DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME REVIEWING FOR "YELP".

I'll get right to the point; DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME REVIEWING EATING ESTABLISHMENTS FOR "YELP", The pick and choose which reviews get posted. They RIPPED ME OFF two hours of my time!!

I strongly believe in customer reviews. I look at "real" user reviews before I do anything, buy anything, or vacation anywhere. It just makes sense to me to place some value when others are sharing their experience to help you with the decision making process.

I took my wife to a new restaurant in town, and later the next day I decided to register with YELP so as to offer a candidly honest review of our experience there.

I praised our waitress for excellent service and gave high ranking to the chef for his culinary skills with the sauces.

HOWEVER, the quality of the actual food used in our meals was hard and chewey so much so that I sent it back, and the replacement meal which was a totally different dish was also hard & chewey.

To make a long story short I gave them 3 out of 5 stars and between the registering process and the actual writing of the review, I must have spent an hour or two of my time. TOTALLY WASTED.

I went back to the YELP web site to see my review and IT WASN'T THERE. I was SO frustrated at their wasting my time I contacted them to see WHY WAS MY REVIEW NOT THERE...

A customer service person for YELP said A COMPUTER SELECTS THE REVIEWS??? What the WHAT???, I never heard of that before. Have you???

WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME, WHAT A RIPP OFF. As a respected operations consulted for Fortune 500 companies I charge $350.00 an hour. As far as I'm concerned YELP OWES ME $700.00.

BEWARE THE "YELP"... NEVER AGAIN!!
