I manage a chain restaurant in North Carolina, with several locations all over the US. I recently received a gift card redemption on a scrap of paper with "Yiftee Local gifts, on the go" inscripted on it. As soon as I saw the gift card I was pretty sure it wasn't going to work. Our cards are not formatted with an expiration or CVC and they all start with the same 4 numbers. Sure enough the card was not activated any where on our system. The Yiftee company took $25 from a customer that they could not redeem in any of our stores.
