This product is cheap, innovative and wildly popular. If you've purchased one and it still works, congratulations to you. If you've purchased one and it's not working - good luck getting help. The ONLY way to contact support via the magicJack website is with their pathetically incompetent live chat. I spent hours (literally) trying to communicate with multiple individuals who were not only incompetent and seemingly not too interested in hearing my problem, but whom also came off as extremely condescending. I've never felt I could fully express myself with offshore tech support, but this company drags the standard down even further. At one point during one of my 'sessions,' the operator even had the nerve to insinsuate that since I was American, I could easily afford running out to buy more equipment to make this thing work (which absolutely would not have fixed the problem anyway). I've been in the tech industry for over 20 years and this is by far the worst customer experience I've had with any product at all.

Ymax Corporation proclaims itself to be a $100,000,000 a year company. With only 25 employees and no phone support whatsoever (at least officially - see below), that reporting is highly suspect and indicative of what kind of company you're dealing with.

I've never before became so infuriated with a company that I've spent days on end trying to track down and expose them. If you are a victim of Ymax Corp, then this information (which the company has gone through great length to hide) may be handy to you:

Ymax Corporation
5700 Georgia Ave.
W Palm Beach, FL 33405

561-833-1335 - I'm only writing this because you have to call it to believe it (seriously, call it - if you're at the point where I am emotionally with this, it'll give you a good laugh).

281-404-1551 - For billing. I'm pretty sure this is only good for refunds on the 30-day trial thing (would love to hear how that's turning out for folks).

*** 561-317-2834 *** HA! Ymax's main tech guy!!!! This guy's a real winner (lied up one side and down the other), but at least you have a target!

Other useful info:
CEO - Donald Burns
CFO - Peter Russo
CTO - Greg Wood

The only email address I could dig up is probably completely useless, but:
magicjackconfirm@magicjack.com

It's a shame that for such a potentially great product, this company completely disrespects its customers.
