Worked with this company on and off since 2007. Very interesting company let me say. The seem to mean well but they do not follow through. They beg for your services "i need you today!, When can you go out?, This customers pissed the tech was a no show!" All kids of B.S. you could think of. I was a small company, have a great reputation they new that. Thats why they always chose me to clean up thier mess. They had angry customers which i had to go smooth things out with on almost every job. I fixed everyone for them and they loved it. So this year Feb 2011 I get a call from Dave Tonia "No longer employed" Hey man I got a large project for you installing satellight dishes on gas stations and convenience stores and there is a great potential to make money. So I thought great.....Finally! So we dropped most of our jobs to set up for this new project for Gtech The Texas Lotto equipment installation to upgrade their old systems. We were promised to get paid every week as jobs were closed and pictures were turned in by us.

Well weeks turned into a month and still not paid. We have pictures of all our work and d**n good work i might add of these installations of these Dishes used for internet to transmit and receive information from the lottery. Let me tell you this is the part that sucks,... we completed all our stores and had to go back to each location approx. 5 times most were over 50 miles away on our money just to help these clowns out! 1st there was a taping issue which all connectors were to be taped to resist moisture. Did that! Guess what wrong tape which they provided and was not to Gtechs specs."That happened twice by the way." 2nd there was pictures taken and they had initially asked for 5 pics. had to go back and get 2 more. that makes 7 pics. Then there was a grounding issue " I have been an electrician for 5 years total and I know how to ground electrical equipment. Had to go back for that. Then there weren't enough cinderblocks which they also provided and specified after we were told a different amount. Tired Yet?! I am! Sorry just very pissed. In conclusion, we did these jobs well aside from the fact that the other contractors they hired may have not. We have pictures, emails, a $50 check from them and a measly $600 from a $5000 + job makes me want to vomit. These liars hide behind a desk playing the blame game, phone tag in which they are always it and tranfer you back and forth like ATT operators saying he's out on vacation with his family, not in the office, let me tak a messsage.....ETC.  They actually are a "call center" and yes they may claim to have 18,000 contractors at their disposal. but infact 90% of them feel the way we do and don't like their business model or customer service. They are just a pile of ZIP! Don't fall for it, don't try it really stay away they will keep your money and you will be sorry. STAY AWAY!

False information from Zip Express.

AUTHOR: Nuclear Signal - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 31, 2012
In response to the many false statements from Zip Express Installation.

I believe you are unsure who you are referring to by the comments you have made in response to our true statement we made against you. The company that was laid of or in your terms "Let Go" was not our company I can definitely prove it. We have pictures, signatures and even a statement by the company who sued you.  We had no damage on any of our projects and we have a much better reputation than you. I have been in contact with the other contractors that did do the project correctly and no one was paid. You have shown dishonesty once again that is probably why your company has the negative reputation it has. Service Magic had invested a large amount of money funding your company. Don't think I don't know every little thing about you or how you came to be. That goes to show you all what happens when a call center does not know whats going on in the field. You really can not get real information of whats happening in the field when you take on a large contract and fail at it when you are sitting in a cubical. I don't understand how you guys sleep at night taking advantage of. You owe us in Excess of $3800 so man up and most importantly PAY UP!

A) Correct, this Contractor was not paid for part of the project **B) Non-payment was due to a lawsuit that was brought against TRG OnCall due to extreme damage done to nearly all locations he serviced on this project. He was let go and since has been referred to our attorney. C) All other Contractors were paid for the quality work performed.
