DO NOT RENT CARS TROUGH RENTALCARS.COM. THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY RIP OFF COMPANY.

I booked a car type VW POLO on Edinburgh air port trough Rentalcars.com, and I paid in advance. I printed voucher and it was written on it PAID IN FULL. After we came to Edinburgh, we collected a car trough Alamo rent a car company and we showed voucher to the officer. After our trip, we returned the car to the Alamo, EVERYTHING WAS ok. There wascno damage or any reason for extra costs.

However aproximately 2 months later, I was billed on my card one more time for the rent in Edinbourgh without any notice. I called Rentalcars.com – lady Tomčakova was on the phone – and reffered what happened to me. After I called again she explainned to me that car was booked trough Ofran holidays – a company which I never heard nor I did no see on my voucher. She wanted to sent voucher from Ofram Holidays, I did  not know why. When I told her that I do not know for any Ofran Holidays, she replied that this case is closed and that she cannot help me. After I called many times insisting to give me contact for manager she gave me number of Marek Paska, Confirmations manager.  On the phone he replied that he does not know what is going on. After sending him e-mails, he usually replied that my case is going to be examined. I have never received any results of eventually examinations.

Since there were not any results nor serious correspondation from Rentalcars.com, I informed bank where I issued my credit-card, and that was Komercni banka. I sent them data about my case and they investigated for at least 3 months. I received a letter from them in which was stated that the car I reserved in Edinburg WAS CANCELLED. I did not canceled anything and I urge them to investigate more. I chcecked link on which I printed my voucher from Rentalcars.com and instead originaly PAID IN FULL now there was CANCELLED.

After some time, I received a warning letter from Europcars – from manager Buther Lynn – in which she stated that Mastercard withdrew money from their account and that I should sent them money immediatelly or that Europcars would not rent any more for me. I replied that we go tour car trough Alamo and that i did not received any money back.

That was ‘a masterpiece‘ at the end. After a three weeks I recieved a letter from my bank that the case is closed and that I CANNOT GET MY MONEY BACK. They wrote me a story about reservation trough Ofran holidays which I never heard about.

Now I am going to ask my bank again to whithdraw money and I am trying to do it trough my lawyer but this pat his very complicated and I am sure Rentalcars.com nows about it.

DO NOT RENT CAR TROUGH RENTALCARS.COM BECAUSE THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY RIP OFF COMPANY.
