I am a professional entrepreneur with a successful background and basic college skills but never completed my degree.  After much success I thought it would be a great opportunity to build up some business skills in today's marketplace that I have not learned by earning my BS degree.  I did some research on various online schools that offered educational courses to achieve this when I came across University Alliance.  Although my research did come up with reports that were made against them I felt that the program appeared professional and I was willing to give it an opportunity despite the claims of this institution and it's lacking credibility.   Upon enrollment and submitting my details to the Financial Aid offices I was approved to receive a grant and full aid for the first semester.  I provided my cc for payment of books that to my astonishment were in excess of 500$ for (1 book, 1 pamphlet, 1 CD, and a paper book novel).  They never gave me the option to seek out materials from anyone other than their in-house sources.  During my first week I was enrolled in 3 courses that would help me to understand online teaching and study practices in addition to a business course.  On day 3 I was having some difficulty with the computer program that they required me to use that was a desktop remote system to access the Microsoft Office programs that would also be required for the submission of my assignments.  Surprisingly the system was NOT compatible with MAC.  I contacted the technical support line that I was given only to be on hold for 20 minutes then to be connected to a person in INDIA only to be disconnected, not once but THREE times.  I ultimately pressed on through the numerous error messages and disconnects to finish the assignment but it took HOURS.  I made my advisor aware of this issue and she referred me to another 800 number (in india).  The next week I had the same but different issues only to be connected to another "tech support" that told me I didn't need the remote desk top for the class and I was doing it incorrectly.  This time I was into my 3 week of classes and I reached out to my professor, a FOREIGN national I might add that I am in no surprise has multiple degrees to teach a computer class however the response from his was "I hope you can figure this issue out as many of your classmates have done for themselves".  This was his response to a question related to an assignment....   In my other courses I had assignments that were submitted and graded however when I had a question related to an answer that I had marked correctly, but was marked as incorrect- I was told I would receive a response to the question.  To date I have NEVER received an answer.   All three of my courses are taught by these individuals that I am not surprised are out of the country, most likely outsourced to INDIA, PHILIPPINES or other countries where the price of a professor comes much cheaper than in the US.

No one in this institution has maintained professionalism and provided the education that I was promised and paid 2500 for a 6 week course that despite all my issues they have said is NON refundable because "technical issues" do not warrant refunds.

PLEASE do NOT waste your time or money with this so-called institution.  They are providing second hand knowledge dangling a carrot, a diploma in your face but in the end all they have done is charged your thousands of dollars for a second rate education (if you would call it that) and thousands more for overpriced books and materials only to be left with little more that what you started with.    It is sad and unfortunate that this company is only concerned with money.  It is clear that they have no interest wither or not you have obtained an education that will enhance your professional skills and better your life.
