Dex Media illeagly charging and harrasing me and many others too from what I see Eugene Oregon

Dex media not once but twice has violated the very contact they make you sign when you do business with them which has significantly hurt my business over a period of over two years and finally put us out of business. In 2006 - 2007 the misprinted several things in my add, when I complained I was told tough luck. The add I did the next year the URL of the website was not only misspelled (we get almost 50% of our business from our website) but the add wasn't anything like it was supposed to be outlined in writing. I waited for a proof, not only did it not come but my salesman Art lied to me about the printing date of the book saying "we have plenty of time." Once again I called the department who handles advertising claims and spoke with Cathy. I was told "hey buddy we are the only game in town if you don't like it then we wont print your add next year and you can go broke" and she hung up on me. I was astounded! I was very reasonable on the phone with the and simply asked for a 10% reduction in the next years advertisement. The hostility of these people tell me they must either be sharks or the management must have no moral compass or ethics.

For 5 months I called my sales rep Art who normally gets back to me within 1 hour, he refused to call me back. I went to his office twice, he refused to see me. Dex media has put me out of business by doing this, they are well aware of this. I now have a collection agency called CBE harassing me and my family with all kind of idle threats because I refused to pay for the full advertisement simply because the violated our written legally binding contract. CBE refuses to identify themselves when they call only demanding a credit card number for a delinquent payment. Now I'm just waiting for the collection agency to start litigation so I can name CBE and Dex Meda a division of the Donnelley Directory in my counter suit. My attorney has advised me it will save me about 5k instead of suing them first.

These people are criminals who blatantly break the law and make there own rules, none of them ethical, honest or legal. They violate the very agreement they make you sign at the time your advertising is first initiated with them. I urge anyone who is interested in a class action law suit for the same or similar reasons to contact me here at the rip off report and also collect printed documentation of the more then 100,000 complaints for the same or similar reason they have nationwide with the BBB and other watch Dog organizations. We have every one of them backed up and ready to print for our law suit. The Donnelly Directory purchased these vagabond thieves when Dex media unloaded then 2 years ago because of the unlawful practices and Law suits Dex generated. Donnelly needs to sweep house in the Pacific North west! We may be a bunch of small towns around these here parts, but some of us are from the big city and know just how to handle creeps like these.
