After saving for over a year on my disability income I bought the Kodak 5300 all-in-one printer and printer bundle package. I also wanted 200 sheet of 4x6 paper and was told I could order this "paper kit" at the kodak store. The customer service rep told me what to order because she said she couldn't place the paper order.

When I went to use the paper I opened the box and didn't know what the 2 cartridges were for because they didn't match my cartridges. I opened the paper and put it in the machine to make a print and it just poured ink all over the paper and wouldn't make a print.

I did this 4 times thinking I was doing something wrong, before I looked at the box they had sent and it said it was for another type of printer.

I spent 2 times on hold with customer service for more than 45minutes with them never answering. Then I got through after waiting 56minutes. The rep refused to let me return the package because I had opened it (which is the only way you find out it doesn't go with your machine), but then wanted me to reorder with a "10%" discount.

He admitted that they had made a mistake but then also admitted that he could do nothing about it, but offer me 10% off another purchase or free shipping on another purchase, but that I was stuck with what they sent.

This is nothing more than manipulative scamming. You either have to return the whole machine and not get credit for any of their "bundles" or "packages" anyway and are forced to place a second order to get the correct merchandise. This kind of scamming is great for improving their bottom line.
