I cancelled my credit card processing with !st National Processing, Thousand Oaks, CA in April, 2012.  On December 31, 2012, the company charged my bank account $129 for the yearly security fee (which I feel is a big rip off also!).  

I contacted the company and they assured me that they would refund only $90 of the fee (pro-rated) back into my checking account.  After two weeks of waiting and no refund, I made another call.  The assistant told me they had mailed me a check and then told me they didn't have the correct address.  After checking the address, she said they decided to go ahead and directly deposit the money and it would be in my account in 3 business days.

A week later, still no refund, I called again.  This time same story, different person.  I was again assured that the money would be deposited and no reason was given for the delay.

Today, over a month later, I called again.  This time she verified my routing number to my bank (this was my credit card processing company....they have all the information they need!)  Again, no excuse and she has assured me the money will be in my account by tomorrow.

This company has come up with the most ridiculous excuses why I have not received my refund and no excuse why my account was charged in the first place.  I have lost over three hours of my time trying to sort this out to no avail.  After researching on the internet, I find there are dozens of similar cases regarding the same company.  I think a class action lawsuit is in order!
