Ashley Furniture Homestore Bad Sofa set Flatten soft cushions bad cores and foams cheap made, In less than 2 month after i bought them replaced them worse than before, bad customer service wont honor the warranty, I paid for 5 years of warranty the sold me. still wont fix it. Arlington Texas

Bad Sofa set Flatten soft cushions bad cores and foams cheap made, In less than 2 month after i bought them replaced them worse than before, bad customer service wont honor the warranty, I paid for 5 years of warranty the sold me. still wont fix it.

Started July, 2009. at Ashley Furniture Homestore , Arlington Texas, we bought 2 big size sofa set, and a table, delivered to my home table came broken. sent another one still not setup right or its very lose and looks so fragile looks like they don't know how to to put them together correctly. i told them i want to change it they gave me about it that no exchange, then finally i paid more to get a different table.

Less than 2 month later i noticed the sofas cushions are getting flatten every day, saggy, and hanging out to the side of the sofa's edge , and the back of the sofas are flatten as well and becoming very soft, that i we cant sit sill. me and my wife we look like we are pushed inside the sofas. than we start feeling bad back pain form not setting correctly. and i felt like we are sitting on the frame of the sofas. the wood are hitting our butts. very bad cant sit more than ten minute with out having to more around or try another way or put pillow under me to give some heights and some lift to the cushions.

i called them sure enough thy came out a week later after i called they send inspector from the store or some that works there in repair dept. to see what is the problem the guy looked at them right away and said yeah i knew this before i came out we get lots calls for these problems. she said these cushions are made from bad or cheap quality foam. 2 weeks later they sent the installer with the same exact foam of cushions that was in sofas to have the cushions replaced. looked good for the first week and we start seeing it just keep going down and down more down, and flat.

we back to zero. i called again they said we will send the guy again to look at it. same guy came back said i told they they will flat again. i told him you should bring more firmer foam. said that i know but that what they told us to put in them. its up to the service manager, i told him to ask for more firmer foam or cushions and that should solve it. he said okay, and we will call you to let you know when we bring them, 2 weeks no one called .

i called to find out when they going to do that. they said that the inspector sent them a report that every thing is normal. and no problems. wowow. lies. 1St when they come to inspect they have a sheet of paper with my name and address and service call on the top, at the bottom where all black they ask you to sign and never give you a copy , when they go back to the store they put what ever they want. ( that is a note for you to know) when they told me that.

i said no that is not right, can you please send some one else to look at them again. and they contacted me to the service manager, he said that nothing wrong with cushions and that the cushions the shape and form to body, and to make me happy he will send some one else to look at them wow . at that time i start taking photos i have over 50 photos of what it looks like from the day i start seeing problems. and start looking closer and did a full check up from each side, i have found lots of problems that i didn't see before, zippers stuck, strings coming apart, splits on each sides, nails sticking out, i mean very poor quality of workmanship bad finish. that i start wondering did they sold me used sofas or what.

at this point after 3 month later i cont care about all that. all i need is to have them get me firmer cushions to keep me form sinking in. 3 weeks later sent a another guy. he comes in i showed him every thing bad with the sofas that if found, i told him i don't care about all that, but do some thing about the cushions and the back of the sofas, we getting back pain form this . he sits for less than 15 sec on each of the cushions and said they are normal even thought he sinks in. now looks like he was told to come and say its all normal so that they don't have to do anything.

i showed him the photos, still he tells me all looks normal. i called the manager, i told him i will get a 3rd opinion about this , and i have lots photos to show you, this really giving us back pain and not comfortable. he said we don't go by photos, and we will not accept any out side opinions, and he tells me to go and buy firmer foam from some where else we don't guarantee comfort.( its Ashly slogan ) I have paid for 5 years warranty that don't cover any thing .

so sofa still under one year. and i am having to sit on pillows over the cushions or have to spend over $900 to get firmer cushions. i have 3 cushions and backs on each sofa. This been a night mare, and the wife not happy at all. this was my first time to buy from Ashly's and this will be the last time even if they offer their called luxury furniture for free. my old sofas that i bought form Room Store over 12 years a go i still have them in my garage, they are much better then the new one i have now form Ashly.

on weekend me and wife we still in the garage at night till 2 or 3 am enjoying the old sofa. and think about how can we get the new sofa to be like the old one we have for over 12 years. ummmmm. Ps i have send letters to head office for Ashley, and the to the store. certificated letters. and i try to call the store manager many times left messages, till now no one cares or replied to any of the contacts.

until i disputed the charge with my bank they about 2 month ago, then they replay to that , so its all about them selling cheap furniture as luxury and making the money , the will reply to the money but not to customer satisfactions. at this point i about to file a law suit. any one have the same issue contact me . sorry if my story is long .....

I also purchased leather sofas from Ashley Furnature and had difficulty with the cushion failure shortly after purchase.  I have had any service representatives "try" to make repairs  over the past year but none have been  sucessful.
