I deposited  my paycheck.  This was not something new because I deposit my check every two weeks .  It always alert me of deposits but this time nothing happened.  So I called customer service to inform them about this problem.  I explained what happened after verifying my account she was unable to give me any information on my account because I could not remember a past deposit.  She was suppose to transfer me but instead she hung up.  I called back talked to a different customer service rep. Wow, she didn't ask for my last deposit dhe verified the account by using some other indicators.  Niot long after that she proceeds to tell me that I will have to wait for them to service the ATM now this is totally unacceptable to me I've already explained this several times.  She then proceeds to tell me that I will have to wait 3-5 business days.  I wanted to know why when I have been depositing my checks the same way she was suppose to transfer me but instead she hung up.  Now this is third call third time I have to explain this.  The customer service rep. said that she could see the deposit and that it shouldn't take 3-5 business days because she could see it in her system. Cool, so I asked to speak to a supervisor.  The supervisor Nilda asks me was it a BBVA compass bank check?  I said no.  She proceeds to tell me then I would have to wait 3-5 business days because it was not a BBVA check.  I told her I know that's not true because I deposit this check every time I get paid.

You Don't Know Your Own Deposit History?

AUTHOR: Perry Mason - (United States)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 08, 2018

Yep, I know the answer! This is YOUR account which contains YOUR money yet you don't even keep a written register of your use of the account! Right this very second, you cannot tell anybody the EXACT available balance, nor can you tell anybody what debits and/or checks have cleared because you don't keep a register! You have absolutely no idea if there's any suspicious withdrawals or on going debits to this account because you don't keep a register, you don't keep an on-going running balance and you never, ever balance the account with the monthly statement! When the time comes when you bounce items because you haven't a clue of an on-going running balance, that of course will be the bank's fault, right? Another sign of the Dumbing Down of America...have a checking account but don't keep ANY records of its usage! You can't even tell the bank the exact amount of YOUR deposit into YOUR. account! Am I ever impressed!
