On Feb 6th My husband and I stopped at Camping World in Longmont CO, we were headed down to New Mexico. On our property in NM we had an electrian install a 50 amp hook up for our 5th wheel RV. We had not seen the work and were concerned that our power cable was not long enough.

At Camping World we found a 15 foot power cable extension, I ask the clerk if we didn't need it was it returnable explaining our situation. She went to the back and talked to the assistant manager who said yes as long as it was not over 30 days. We purchased the cord for 136.85.When we arrived in NM we found that our power cable was long enough to reach our 5th wheel . We did not need the extension and left in the back of our truck for the 2 weeks that we were down in NM.

On Feb 20th we stopped at Camping World to return the cable, the same clerk was on duty, just as she was about to refund our money she said I had better make sure this is returnable. I said you were the one who sold this to us and you had already checked. She went to the back and I could here the assistant manager say no it was not returnable. I went to the back counter and showed them the receipt and that I had already checked when I bought it. The assistant manager called a women who never introduced her self,

who then told me it was not returable because it had been used. I showed her that we had not even unrolled it from the wrap it was in, when she said again it had been used and now it was damaged. She was rude and agumentative with me. She and I agued about this and finally she said store credit or nothiing which I finaly took but advised them I would never use Camping World again. We ask the rude woman for the number for Camping Worlds home office and she refused to give it to us saying look it up on the internet.

I called Camping World Longmont the next day and ask if they had a 15 foot 50amp extension, I was told they had only one and I ask the price, the store told me it was 136.85. I then called a friend who also has a RV and ask if he would check the store, I explaned that the paper tag on the cord had ared streak on it where I had picked it up and had red ink on my hand Sure enough when checked the store it was the same power cord

Camping World was contacted by me the next day and I have never heard a word back from them My advice to any one doing business the them is to get every thing in writing and make sure you get the name of every one you talk to.
