Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

This company hires you for straight commission, then tells you that you have to find all your own leads by visiting all the churches in a given neighborhood, to look for all the ads that companies put in the Sunday church bulletin.  Then you have to pull all the ads that are in the mail, to obtain potentiai customers. They tell you that you have to make hundreds of calls and you have to do this when you are parked in the neighborhood you are working, just in case you actually get someone who doesn't hang up on you and maybe is interested in your product, so you can be there in five minutes so they don't change their mind. You ram an avertising program down their throats with a high pressure sales pitch, and tell them you are NOT coming back a second time.

You can't submit deals to the company until you get 5 deals in an area, so you end up driving back day after day to the same area to try to get that 1 last deal, but most small businesses are not interested in having their names on shopping carts. In my area they do not even have a program with the biggest grocery chain, so everyone says unless they can advertise there, they are not interested.

Even when you submit paperwork to them, they find a reason to not pay you, like"oh they had a bad check" or "the artwork is not any good" so you end up giving up and losing all the money they owe you. Forget these people, they suck!

Homework Done, Confirmed Results

OK, you wanted accurate results, I went to 7 stores yesterday and spent my time so you crooks could not rip off the hard working and honest with your lies and deceptions any longer.  Out of the seven stores I went to 2 of the largest of the chain which had over 450 carts and the other nearly 600, and the results were similar in all seven stores.  On Friday, February 8th, the two stores with large number of carts had 178 and 241 carts parked out back of the stores and in asking the managers,

these carts are only used at potentially busy times on holidays and on potentially "big weekends" so out of 30 to 31 days in a month, these carts may be seen 4 to 7 times during the month.   Sometimes many of these carts are never used and never get pulled from behind the stores execpt on days like Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Also I was made aware that the carts can be moved to a totally different area store with no notice whatsoever to the ad purchaser and you would never know that a good portion of your ad in one area is no longer there, that it has been moved 50 miles or more away. Now back to the homework,

If someone bought lets say 40% of the exposure in a store and lets also say that only their share of the carts were out back, then they are told that they have 180 carts running around in the stores daily when in fact they may have as few as 2 or as many as maybe 100, actually out in the store, not 180 like the peddler of these ads represents.  In addition, since the stores are NEVER maintained as it is represented, there are most likely less than 100 carts in representation which is only 22% of the carts, not 40% so the lies are now verified.  This pattern is now fact and the homework done.  Again, don't be deceived by the high pressure and "good deal" tactics of this company, they are liars and thieves to say the least!

Know what you are saying

Wow. It is shocking how someone can badmouth a company when the company can back up facts. This person has never worked in retail or would know that you will pay attention to these ads if they are in your face. Shopping carts are never kept in the back unless being used temporarily. All stores use all carts for customers and will not allow shoddy work to be displayed.  It would look bad on their part. Uneducated people should always research before making comments. It makes you look stupid when you have no idea what you are talking about. Again research research research before you have comments.

While it is true that it they do put your advertising on the carts, they just don't do it promptly as they promise so if you're a seasonal business, plan on missing your window of advertising opportunity, they are late on everything and do shoddy, unprofessional ads that don't catch your attention.  Lets be honest, when you go into the store, are you looking for advertising or do you ignore it?  And they say you'll be on 40% of the carts in the store, what they don't tell you is that half of them are facing the front of the basket and are typically covered by groceries so they never get seen.

And what about all of the carts that sit outside and never get used except on holidays, they never point these things out to you, so your carts that you paid to advertise on could all be sitting out back of the store!  The only businesses who might benefit from this type of exposure are large well known companies like Coca-Cola, Nike, Foot-Locker, Google, Microsoft, Ford, Chevrolet, and others such as these.

So if this is true, why don't these companies who have done the research on this type of advertising not snatch it all up and occupy the space in the stores?  Because they know that it doesn't work and no amount of contacting these types of business will get them to advertise on the carts.  So as a result, the sales sharks go after the uninformed "little guy" and sucker them into advertising.  If you look at the overall staying power of the average Cartvertising advertiser, it is one time and one time only for 6 months and then they'll never do it again.  Check it out at the stores and see if it isn't true, you'll find that these are the facts and they are verifyable!

Sounds like some people need to be an order-taker instead of sales person.  Sales is one of the hardest jobs out there, it takes a lot!  If you can't stand the heat, I suggest you get out of the kitchen.

Cartvertising is one of the Best Companies I ever worked for

AUTHOR: Loretta - (United States of America)

Cartvertising is one of the best companies I have ever worked for. The people employed at the company are professional and courteous.

This is a sales job with one of the highest paying commissions you could make. AND, it is told up front that it is 100% commission. Were you held at gunpoint to take the job? It sounds to me that "working" does not agree with you.

As far as people not wanting to advertise in a supermarket on carts, your point is ridiculous. We have clients who have renewed their program over and over again for over 15 years. Some of these clients are lawyers, hospitals, Imaging companies, etc.

There is nothing in the way of advertising that a business could do to give them more exposure, more often, for longer periods of time for less money than our program. Not to mention the supermarket is the one place everyone HAS to go to and the shopping cart is the first thing they reach for and the last thing they will put away. Our program gives guaranteed forced exposure.

You should get your facts straight before you jump on the computer and state falsehoods.
