I bought a home through a participating realtor with the promise in three years it would be worth $7500 if all requirements were met. One of the requirements as stated on their website at the time and on the certificate was that a legible copy of your original birth certificate with the raised seal was sent in and also other info like a copy of your utilility bill.

Well I sent in a copy that was legible of my birth certificate along with all the other info. They also had a timeline which I would get my money. They went beyond the timeline and I called the company and even though they supposedly use an independant firm they could put a rush on my filing. The funny thing is the denial letter comes from another state but all info goes to a P.O. box in the same city this company is in. The only reason for denial was I did not send my original birth certificate even though their rules clearly stated a legible copy. Since my complaint with the BBB this company has changed their website to clearly say they require the original. They will not return the originals and with what is provided can clearly be used for identity theft your original birth certificate and proof of residency. If any one else has had similar experience with this company not giving their money please respond here this transaction took place in the state of California. Any info on how to file complaints with state agencies please let me know also I think this could be considered mail fraud since everything was done by mail. I did not follow through with binding arbitration with the bbb due to the fact that it would tie my hands with other agencies even though I have a letter from the bbb that they dont believe the company did all they could do to resolve this complaint. So in other words they believe I have a valid complaint.

Lb88 the Employee

Dear Lb88 the employee
I am a consumer who did follow all of your rules. I supplied all the required information in the specified time frame. Your company will not provide me with any information about my account, no honoring the contract, no letter of congratulations, no letter of denial, no nothing.. Now I get an email saying a new "legal team is handling our consumer relation issues". But imagine that --your company will not provide the information to contact them, how shocking. I have filed complaints with the BBB were your rating is a D-, so it seems you don't care about that. Resolves rating is F-, great company to do business with, and they are worse than you guys about deal with the customers. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office about this being a scam on consumers and provided the documentation they asked for. You made a misstatement in your rebuttal Cash Reward did that as a gift to you Wrong, money from our closing went to you, it was no gift. You belittled the author by saying It's really sad that someone has to go online to vent Your company will NOT answer phones or return messages. Can you provide us with a phone number that we can use to get through to someone? Or how about simply provide a good address to have your company served as your website address is a mailbox at a shipping store, and your registered address is no good. One other thing, if you are so proud of your company why don't you tell us who you are instead of hiding behind Lb88.

It's really sad that someone has to go online to vent about not getting money that was never even yours to begin with. The person who issued you a Cash Reward did that as a gift for you. Our directions CLEARLY state that either the original OR a CERTIFIED copy of your birth certificate. It also clearly states on there that ANY paperwork, copies, birth certificate etc. CAN be mailed back to you. All you need to do is send in a self addressed pre stamped envelope to the ITPA whom you sent everything in to. As you clearly stated in your report, you sent in a COPY of your birth certificate. As for the P.O. Box being in the same state as we are? Wrong again. Our Third Party Administrator, Resolve, is in Strongsville, OH. We are in Texas my friend. And I believe the reason for you not following through with the BBB, would be a matter of the fact that were NOT wrongfully denied. We have THOUSANDS of testimonials from people who have received their Cash Reward, and would be happy to show those to anybody. Not to mention this company has a 100% payout for ALL customers who have sent in the correct paperwork. Have a wonderful day :)
