I established service with Centurylink on June 6th of this year (2013) and they told me that my line would be buried within 14 days. I currently still do not have my line buried. I have created a trouble ticket with them 4 times and still no results. We have went to "Tier 1" twice now and I still do not have my line buried. We had issues with speed recently and we got a tech sent to our house to fix that but it was still a temporary fix.

The tech said they have a contractor that buries their lines and they probably aren't doing it because our case will be challenging due to the length of our line. Our landlord has mentioned the issue several times now and mentioned that he has fined people before for these kind of issues. We feel extremely disrespected by this company who refuses to deal with their contractor with enough rigidity to get something done and we feel we have received sub-standard customer service and internet service for the duration of our time with them.

In addition to all of this, when I called back to get the name of their contractor so that I could file a BBB report against them they refused to give it to me! This company has given us great support for years and now all of a sudden, they have turned into Mr. Hide on us! I can't believe how disrespectful they have been with this situation. To clarify, their customer service representitives have always been very respectful on the phone, but as soon as they hang up, the matter seems to drop and nothing ever happens! The city even came out and put a flag in the ground and painted the grass.. well the paint is now gone because the grass has been cut over 8 times at least, and I'm surprised that the flag is still there...

I think that if you have an easy house that has a DSL outlet right by it, they are find, but if your house is any kind of difficult with where they have to run the line to, go with someone else! These guys are rediculous when it comes to dealing with the contractor that they hired to do their line bury/drops! Horrible customer service!
