We spent over an hour with the sales representative to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We wanted to be able to record programs from two out of our three televisions.  And we emphatically stated we wanted to be able to pause and rewind live television shows from at least two of the three televisions.  We were assured the whole home plan and equipment would allow us those capabilities.

Well, NOT.  We were informed we would have to spend another $199 per receiver/dvr to get the capability we were promised when we bought the special whole home service DVR. 

We just had this set up today.  One of their representatives had the audacity to say "well, you signed off on the work order before the technician left."  Really?  I was supposed to check every promised function on three televisions?

I am SO not happy and my husband will most likely cancel the service tomorrow.  I hope DirectTV isn't deluded enough to think we are going to pay a cancellation fee.
