I had Dishnetwork (satellite service), since Aug 2001. Always paid on time and set up auto pay. I desired to upgrade and was sent many emails as a 'Preferred Customer'.. When I decided to avail of this service a link stated if a am a current customer the offer is not for me..Why send numerous emails to preferred customer and not include the offer. I was will to pay the difference.
I cancelled my account online as I do not receive paper statements and both parties have contracted for electronic notices. I even went online to REMOVE MY AUTO PAY VISA..
Dish took out after cancellation one, then two, & now three payments UNAUTHORIZED. I have filed a dispute with credit card company & FTC online complaint.

AFTER SUCCESSFUL DISPUTE WITH CREDIT CARD CO; THEY REVERSED ALL CHARGES AND CREDITED ME IN FULL. NOW DISH SENT ME BILLING TO RE-NEGOTIATE HALF PRICE, AND AT SAME TIME PLACED SAME IN COLLECTION STATING THEY CANCELLED SERVICES MAR 2007 WHEN THE CORRECT INFORMATION GIVEN TO CREDIT CARD COMPANY WHICH BASED THEIR DECISION UPON WAS DEC 2006.. I ALREADY SENT SAME TO F.T.C. ONLINE FRAUD AND NOW WILL UPDATE THEM ALSO.
