Empire Today Contractor witnessed pouring grout down a public sewer system- we were fined by township Cinnaminson New Jersey

Hired Empire to install tile. Contractors were seen by an eye witness pouring grout down the public sewer system in the street. The following week we received a fine in the mail from the township. Multiple calls were made to customer service. Extremely poor customer service. Unacceptable time frame for returned calls, as a fine sat adding $600 each additional day it was not paid. Either Rich Isuris or Tim Sherwin followed up and said this was the way their employees were trained to dispose of grout! No sympathy to our fine or township issues. We are requesting a refund, and they only stated they could maybe give us a small discount. No follow up after to see if our issue was resolved. We are now working with a lawyer to recover fees for their services, fees for township permits, and lawyer fees. Do not use this company! What they say on their website about great customer service, customer satisfaction, and professional installation is NOT true. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB.
