FREEDOM VAN LINES in DALLAS TEXAS will give you an estimate, but will NOT keep it. From the moment they arrive, they will begin charging you for all they can get.

I moved from Houston, Texas to New York City.

Tekla gave me my estimate and handed me over to Krista. She assured me I would be taken care of by Freedom. I gave them specifics of my move, so they knew my schedule was tight.

When they arrived to pickup my goods, they began with the extra charges for anything and everything. They got me for extra weight, tape, shuttle charge, and more. The movers did not care one bit about the condition of my goods. Then I got on the phone with Krista, who refused to cooperate. Isaac, the so called supervisor, was the person in command. Although, I never talked to him, his name was often used.

Krista is a rude, lying, evasive person. DO NOT believe ANYTHING this company tells you.

My goods did not ship for almost three weeks. Not once did Freedom notify me of the delay.

Once my goods got to NYC, I was told I had to take delivery the next day. The company called me at 4:30 pm and Krista told me I had to take delivery the next day, or I would be charged another fee. In NYC arrangements must be made with the apartment building. Krista failed to clear my move-in with the building. She was given information about this a month prior, when the plans were communicated. Once again, the company charged me for a fee that was not discussed at the time of the estimate. This time it was for $250.

The movers on the New York side were with a company called White Glove. Another group of rude, careless individuals. They did have one guy who was good. Apparently White Glove and Freedom did not communicate with each other. White Glove did not even know I had paid my balance. The supervisor of White Glove, Jose', is the laziest, meanest man I have met in the moving business.

Freedom will appear to be a good ol company who provides a fair deal. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. Everyone at the company must be trained to lie and get money anyway they can. Once they have your business, the extra charges will not stop.
