I bought a 2000 toyota camry from this company in 2007 for $14000. The car was only worth $ 4000 and in the condition it was in it was really worth $2500 KBB. The car looked like it had been flooded after some further inspection. The leather seats were ripped and flakey, they charged me for repairs that should have been done before thy sold me the car. Now they have been bought out.
Come to find out Freeway has been gone since August. Carmax called my parents and said they have bought Freeway out. They either want a car payment or the car back and they left no contact info and now all of a sudden I'm in a bind. I don't know where to start. My back was agaisnt the wall when I bought the car and now it's going through it. Need help.

This is a bit of information for Ramon9 from Macon, Georgia. Ramon9, I recently found out that all of the cars from freeway are contracted as leases not purchases. So after you pay that 14,000 that your ocntracted for you'll still have to pay about 3,000 dollars to actually purchase the car. I'm in the same situation and trying to find a way out. Oh, and they did not sale out to Automax, they were shut down by The Department Of Highway Safety And Motor Vehicles. I just wanted to give you a heads up on those ripoffs.
