The TELEVISION SET WITH AN EXPIRATION DATE

We purchased a 32 inch Emerson Model No. LC320EMM8A. Three months later the television no longer turned on. The set conveniently broke down 90 days after the purchase date leaving us unable to replace it. Therefore, it was sent to a third party entity for repairs.

The take home point: We have been without a television set for FOUR months. Each part needed to repair the television set has taken three weeks each to be received by the repair center, and the most recent part received Thursday, December 27, 2007 came back defective. I tried calling FUNAI directly to discuss the matter, but none of the contact people are available.

Worst of all, the Better Business Bureau lists FUNAI Corporation, Torrance, CA: a "D" rating, the WORST rating.
