Before I was a customer of Hughesnet I was a customer of their competitor, wild blue. I was upset with Wildblue for setting monthly internet useage limits, and I expressed that to the sales representitive that I spoke with to set up my Hughesnet account. He assured me that I had nothing to worry about because Hughesnet sets dailey limits and they reset everyday at 12:00 AM and that I had a unlimited usage between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM, that conversation happened on 10/20/2010. Now on 1/15/2011 for the last four days straight I have woken up to 0% available for internet usage, that tells me that it has been resetting nor have I been receiving my unlimitted period. I called 1/15/2011 and was informed that the representitive that sold me had lied, and it doesn't always reset on 12:00 AM and that if you go over your dailey limit, it won't reset until 24 hours from when you stopped using it, so for example, if you go over and stop using it at 9:00 PM on 1/15 it won't reset until 9:00 PM on 1/16 and thats if you don't use it for 24 hours, if you use it before it will delay it more. Well that is not what was explained to me nor was anything that I agreed upon. It explained to me that it would reset everyday at 12:00 AM and that is what i agreed on. When I said that was a breach of contract they didn't offer any solution and want me to pay $400 to cancel. If it was every explained that way I would have never been a client in the first place, I would have stuck with WildBlue
